Don grew up on a farm in western Pennsylvania. After a three year hitch in the Marines, he landed in Southern California, where he went to work in a steel  fabricating firm, eventually becoming a general partner in the business. In addition to doing general job shop work, the company made replacement parts for cement mixers, which they sold throughout the western United States, and also became Department of Defense contractors, making  items for the Army and the Navy.

After many years, Don sold his interest in the company and moved to Chattanooga, TN, where he started another steel fabricating shop with his son. After selling that business, he went to work with the Phil Bacon Business Group as a business intermediary. If an owner has a sincere desire to sell his company, Don will work hard to find that right buyer for him. He has received platinum and gold awards for performance in the past. He understands what an important decision it is when an owner decides to sell his business, and will do everything in his power to see that when a sale is closed, both the buyer and the seller are completely satisfied with the deal.

Don has been associated with Phil Bacon for many years. They both are Marines, both attend the same church, both love airplanes, and most importantly, both share the same values when dealing with buyers and sellers. If the deal isn’t right for everyone, don’t do it. We stand by that.
